Emergency Service
Find answers to common questions about emergency service.
What constitutes an appliance emergency?
Emergencies include: refrigerator or freezer not cooling (food safety risk), gas leaks or gas smell from range, water leaking from appliances causing damage, or any situation posing immediate safety concerns.
How quickly can you respond to emergencies?
We prioritize emergency calls and strive to respond within hours when possible. Our emergency line is staffed to handle urgent situations outside normal business hours.
Is there an additional charge for emergency service?
Emergency service outside normal business hours may incur additional charges. We will always inform you of any additional costs before dispatching a technician.
What should I do if my refrigerator stops cooling?
Keep doors closed as much as possible to maintain temperature. A full freezer stays frozen for about 48 hours; a full refrigerator maintains safe temperature for about 4 hours. Call us immediately to schedule emergency service.
What should I do if I smell gas from my range?
If you smell gas, turn off the appliance immediately if safe to do so. Do not operate electrical switches. Open windows to ventilate. If the smell is strong, leave the house and call your gas company first, then call us once the immediate danger is addressed.
